Salisbury Shopmobility. Scooters, powerchairs, manual wheelchairs and shopper walkers available to hire to enable people with mobility difficulties to access Salisbury city centre (see review of this service here) . The local Continence Clinic operates at Peacemarsh Surgery, Gillingham, on Wednesdays. They provide assessment, advice, medication and management options. This service can be booked either directly on Tel. 01305 259978 (leave a message on voicemail for callback within 2 days) or via your GP. Appointments take 45 minutes initially, then follow up appointments take 30 minutes. Other clinics are run at Yeatman Hospital, Sherborne.
The national Bladder and Bowel Community (B&B), Tel. 01926 357220 (leave a message for a confidential call back service). They provide information via numerous leaflets and booklets. NorDDiS have copies in their Continence Corner for your use. Do come and look and learn something that will really help!
